Addressing our challenges – a collaborative approach to addressing the
climate emergency
Please note, due to growing concerns about the COVID-19 coronavirus global outbreak, we have taken the decision to postpone this scheduled event. In discussion with our sponsor Jacobs, we believe it is in the best interest to minimise risk and to safeguard the health of our members and delegates.
We are currently working with our partners and guest speakers from across the public and private sectors, across the four cities of Belfast Dublin, Edinburgh and Glasgow to look at delivering this through an interactive webinar, so the discussion, debate, and sharing knowledge on how best develop our cities can begin.
To register interest, please email events@causewayexchange.net
Causeway and Jacobs are developing a programme of collaborative initiatives across Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dublin and Belfast, with two planned events in 2020 - Edinburgh & Dublin.
Scotland and Ireland have aspiration and plans to continue to grow their respective economies, within the overall context of issues such as: Brexit uncertainty, climate challenges, embracing new technologies, addressing inequality, and increasing pressure on public resources. These challenges are particularly pronounced in our four largest cities of Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh and Glasgow. This event will explore how the four cities can share experiences on the challenges around addressing the climate emergencies while continuing to grow and prosper.
