Each year the UK public sector tenders out over £290 billion buying goods and services and public procurement in Ireland is estimated to be worth €17 billion annually.

In both Ireland and the UK, public procurement bodies are focussing their efforts on increasing the SME share of this spend. There are over 12,000 new contract opportunities advertised per month, varying by sector, duration and value.
